CZ vs. Dragon*Con! Millions enter! The Con always wins!

Dragon*Con! It is a thing that is happening! We of the Channel Z Consortium are again going to be there, wandering the halls aimlessly and partying profusely. To see so many dragons in one place is a sight to behold, one that only seems to end in drum circle antics and drinking various things that you were pretty sure were not things to drink to begin with. It's a good time! You should come. If you know about us, you probably do come to the con. If so, doubly come. Now.

As I type this, I am sitting in Aaron's driveway, waiting for him to get to his own house. He said he'd be back by now, but he's not very good at that. I am going to tease him on the internet and post pictures of Slowpoke with his face on it. There will be laughter.

We're also premiering two brand new skits at the con, so buckle those comedy belts! They'll be up here soon after the con is over, but they'll be played on all those magical TVs and panel things they have all over the place and everyone will be happy and have shiny rainbows for hair or something.

Anyway, it's hard to type in such a cramp spot so I'm going to stop that now. In the meantime, if you want to hang out with us, give us a tweet and we'll see what we can do! We'll be nice. Honest!

Moving around!

So, we're in the middle of changes right now in Channel Z land. For one, I'm moving to the same state that Aaron is in, so our chances of making videos in a regular fashion have increased to at least 3% higher than before. It feels pretty good! I'm looking forward to knocking on Aaron's door at odd hours in a fashion not unlike the beginning of the Big Lebowski, demanding we get some video editing done stat. It's the little things that make this work out!

In between moving and panicking and moving, we seem to have come across a surplus of new found free time at our disposal. We're going to use that time to work on our plans for Dragon*Con and are ultimate goal of worldwide supremacy through vault-dwelling means. I guarantee another Eye of Argon-cast from us like in the last year (It's my turn to pick this year. Aaron has no clue what is in store for him. I laugh in the hopes that the echoes will make my laugh more evil-sounding.) and some actual stuff around the con as the days go on. We'll probably also be at every MST3K-centric panel known to man, so if you want to find us, that's a good start! I will also be spending most of my time being pulled out of the dealer's room by Aaron as he convinces me not to buy cheaply made video game swords so that I may make Soul Calibur in real life. Or just have a lot of cheaply made swords. I got this under control, alright!?

You guys in videoland take it easy. I got a coffee shop to pretend like I know what to do in!

Summer Summer SummAGGHHHHH

Being in the South has its advantages. We have a near constant supply to sweet tea, which some refer to as our own hidden ambrosia that the rest of the world refuses to understand. There's lot of pretty scenery in the mountainous areas and the well known hospitality is still alive in places (As long as you don't try to get it from Mr. Gruff Dude with Mr. Shotgun.)

On the other hand, the heat and humidity will destroy one's soul. Holy crap it's like one-thousand-percent out there humidity wise.

But despite this heat, we of the Channel Z Army continue on! We're still working on the skit from out last update, but we got a couple of others prepping up and ready to do. Both Aaron and I have suddenly got an abundance of time on our hands now. We'll at least stop partying for a second or two to get some work done.

Until then, Vaultnauts! ... Dwellonauts? Suvivonauts? Apoconau-- No, this isn't working. We're just going to pretend I finished it with the last sentence. Yeah, that's it, John. You're so cool.

Quick, tell them we're busy!

And we are! We are so, so are. Why, we have a whole crew here, being busy and prepping up just to become busy! One guy is busy pretending he's busy! Why, look at how hard working our faithful crew is!

This was before we got filming in full swing, so you can have a pretty good idea how excited we were from there!

We're in the middle of working on new skits finally, for the greater good of the nation. We also got quite a few news skits prepped up to begin filming in the coming weeks as well! You may now rejoice with your favorite montage music from the 80's. Oh yeah. We're pumped.

There's also a long overdue video podcast back from Chattacon in this pile somewhere. We'll finally get around to posting it, probably sometime after Dragon*Con at the rate we're going. Stay tuned and we'll keep you posted. Until then, look to wherever you were looking beforehand!
